SHIPPING:
All goods shipped from this site are done using the Royal Mail 1st class or Airmail service. There is a further option for registered/recorded delivery, which adds additional cost - currently 72p in the UK for Recorded Delivery and £3.50 for International Signed For which tracks your package until it leaves the UK.
Shipping is charged by weight of the total package using the Large Letter or Packet rate (which also takes into account the size of the package) in the UK and Air Mail Small Packet rate to the Rest of the World using Franking rates as published by the Royal Mail.
A standard packaging and handling fee of £1.00 is added to each order
If your order contains items of jewelry we would recommend the extra security of our Signed For option due to the small size/high value of these items.
Occassionally, due to slight variations in the individual weight of certain items (particularly t-shirts), the combined weight of a number of items may take it above or below the estimated total weight as calculated in The Shop checkout. This would mean that the shipping cost as calculated and charged to your order may vary slightly from that appearing on the actual package (which, of course, does not include the £1 handling charge).
Therefore, we must advise you that the shipping cost as charged to you are the best estimate we are able to make and we cannot accept liability if that charge should differ from the actual cost. Most times the actual cost is more than we have charged you anyway!
RETURNS:
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the goods you have received, we offer a no quibble return and refund policy. Provided the goods are returned in saleable condition, we will refund the purchase cost. If the goods are returned due to a fault then the cost of shipping will be refunded also. This does not affect you statutory rights.
VAT (SALES TAX):
Orders from the United Kingdom or European Union: You will be charged a mandatory 20% VAT sales tax. This is shown in our Checkout Confirmation screen (when placing your order) or via viewing your invoice/receipt.
Customers from outside of the UK/EU: You will not be charged this fee as it does not apply to you.
Your Right to Cancel:
In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order (or any part thereof) provided:
a) you inform us of you desire to cancel within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the goods (the so called "cooling off" period) in writing to the address above or by email to cancel@newmodelarmy.org including full details of your order and
b) you return the goods in good condition, unopened (in the case of printed matter, audio and video products) or unworn (in the case of clothing products) at your expense. We strongly recommend that items are returned via registered post. Upon receipt of the goods (in good condition) we shall refund your full purchase price within 14 days. |
