“From Here” was mostly written in just two months and recorded in only nine days in early 2019 at the beautiful Ocean Sound Recordings, on the tiny Norwegian island of Giske . At a time when the world seems to be disintegrating into petty squabbles, it was a deliberate attempt to step away from what divides us and to see a bigger picture - and the huge physical backdrop of sea and snow-covered mountains was perfectly reflected in the music. Never has the band been more united on a project and so much 'in the right place at the right time'. Once again it was produced by Lee Smith and Jamie Lockhart, and the beautiful artwork was by longtime collaborator Joolz...
