Beautiful Game (2011)

2011 felt like the beginning of a new era, with a total rebuild of our studio that had been mostly destroyed by fire and with Nelson’s departure. Now, with Ceri on bass, we began exploring new studio-based possibilities (which turned into Between Dog & Wolf). Out of the blue, we received an invitation from Brazil to write a song for The Spirit of Football, a non-profit organisation that celebrates the international love of the game, and promotes low-key local events across the world. It seemed a good place to start, and the result was this joyous little song.
